If you are not putting video files on your website because you don’t have the “techie” skills needed to work with the embed codes and put them in the correct place on your web pages, here is a great solution to your video hosting needs.
Amazon S3 (S3= Simple Storage Service) is a low cost service that hosts your video, audio and many other files. According to Amazon…
Amazon S3 is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers.
Amazon S3 provides a simple web services interface that can be used to store and retrieve any amount of data, at any time, from anywhere on the web. It gives any developer access to the same highly scalable, reliable, fast, inexpensive data storage infrastructure that Amazon uses to run its own global network of web sites. The service aims to maximize benefits of scale and to pass those benefits on to developers.
Now, add the services and fantastic tools offered by eZs3 and you have a simple, fast and economical way to host and post your files. So what is eZs3 and what does it do?
Although Amazon provided a fantastic service, S3 was very difficult to use for the vast majority of people who are online today.
A number of tools were available to web users that allowed them to easily transfer their files to Amazon S3.
But what then?
How do you get the media files onto your website?
eZs3 is a service which allows you to fully manage your own S3 account, including uploading and downloading files and folders, and creating players and wrappers that you can easily use to embed media files on your website.
Watch this short video where I show you how I used Amazon S3 and eZs3 together to quickly add audio and video players to the Midwest Internet Marketing Super Conference replay website for my friend and business associate Jeff Mill.
