I am truly thankful and feeling very blessed today. First of all because I know that my Lord Jesus Christ has my life in his hands no matter what life, the world or the economy can but in my path. I put my confidence in His ability and not mine to provide and care for our family especially in these turbulent times. I’m more excited than ever for what God has planned for my life and for the ministry that Leslie and I are doing together.
In my family I am thankful for my wife of 38 years and our 3 sons, 2 daughters and one little grand daughter who is now 3 years old. Tomorrow Leslie and I celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. We are enjoying the opportunities that having my own home based online business gives me to see her during the day, have lunch together and do things together during the day that I could not during my regular work day at the JOB.
In my personal life, I feel rich with our extended family and friends from our church and others we have been blessed to know. Over the years many people have touched our lives and brought us blessings. It is good to stop and think about all these things at least on Thanksgiving Day each year if not everyday.
In my business I’m now 2 days into my 10th month of running my own Internet Marketing Technology Consulting business full-time. I left my last full-time JOB as the Information Technology Manager for the nation’s 5th largest retail furniture store on February 25th of this year. I now work as a consulting project manager to my friend and mentor Jeff Mills as well as working with several clients of my own. My primary focus in my own business is helping people to build WordPress blogs.
When we remember those people that we are connected with, family, friends or in business, a great way to let them know we are thinking about them or grateful for their help is by sending them a greeting card. About a year ago my friend Larry Benet helped me to learn about a great new company, Send Out Cards. I use SOC to stay in contact with friends, family and business contacts.
A few days ago a couple friends of ours gave us the “ultimate gift of help… they moved my wife’s new-used piano from another friends house into the upper level, about 8 steps up, into our living room. We still wonder how it got up the stairs even with five of us trying to push\pull it… God Bless you Joe and Rick!!
I’m going to send Joe and Rick a greeting card to say thank you for their help with the piano moving event. As good friends do, they would not take any money so I’m going to include a little gift along with the cards to them. Watch the video below to see how I do this.
With more holidays yet to come, Chanukah and Christmas, you might want to look into using Send Out Cards yourself. These are NOT those little “digital creating cards that are floating around the Internet these days… mostly with viruses for your computer. These are Real printed greeting cards that you send from your account on the computer, they are printed and then sent out in the US Postal Service mail.
After you watch the video, if you want to try sending a card yourself I setup a limited number of FREE accounts for you to try a sending a couple cards from. You can access the link HERE. If you get a message that there is nothing left for a free account, email me and let me know you want to try Send Out Cards and I will setup another sample account for you at no cost.
Thank you for being a reader of my WhoIsHenry blog! I hope you have much to be thankful for this year. If there is anything that I can do to help you to build your own online home based Internet business, please let me know. It really is possible. You can have a business of your own. Just drop me an email and I will get back in touch with you.
God Bless You and Have a Great Day of Thanksgiving!
